REACH is committed to providing meaningful learning opportunities to trainees and interns in order to contribute to the fields they represent, to build community capacity and encourage learning within the organization.
Every year, REACH’s Training Program accepts Master of Social Work Interns, Marriage and Family Therapy Trainees, and Professional Clinical Counseling Trainees from numerous universities nationwide. Interns and trainees are selected to participate in our counseling programs. REACH specializes in sexual & domestic violence, childhood trauma and abuse, and human trafficking.
Clinical interns and trainees receive 1 hour of individual supervision and 2 hours of group supervision every week as well as a myriad of clinical trainings. Trainings offered include 40+ hour State Certified Sexual Assault Counselor Training, Clinical Orientation, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, A Window Between Worlds, Community Resiliency Model, Cultural Competency, Clinical Documentation, Trauma-Informed Care, and Suicide Prevention.
